Peak Construction to build Joliet warehouse

DES PLAINES - Peak Construction Corp. has been awarded a design-build contract for a new, speculative industrial warehouse in Joliet.

Spanning 137,640 square feet, the warehouse will boast a 32-foot clear height, 30 dock doors, 2 drive-in doors, and a flexible floor plan that can accommodate two tenants. The building will be owned by TCB 1 LLC, a joint venture controlled by Beijing-based Beijing Taihua Group and Chicago-based Janko Group.

For this project, Peak has teamed with Harris Architects Inc. and Jacob & Hefner Associates and expects to complete construction by the end of 2019.
