Enjoy Ukulele Singalong at ice cream social in Lombard

On Wednesday, June 26, join in the Ukulele Singalong at the William J. Mueller Gazebo, behind the Victorian Cottage, 23 W. Maple St. in Lombard.

The grounds open and activities begin at 6:30 p.m. The first 30 people receive a coupon for a free Dairy Queen Dilly Bar. Bring a chair or a blanket, park at the Lombard Historical Society to pick up your DQ coupon, then redeem your coupon at the Dairy Queen on Main Street.

Celebrate the Lombard Sesquicentennial and Ice Cream Social with the Stilettos, a sweet Adeline-style quartet Aug. 1, an event co-sponsored by the Village of Lombard and the Lombard Historical Society.

The Lombard Historical Society celebrates Lombard's heritage by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of Lombard and operates the Victorian Cottage Museum, the Carriage House and the Society's Archives at 23 W. Maple St., and the Sheldon Peck Homestead, a National Park Service Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Site, 355 E. Parkside Ave. in Lombard.
