Fun on the sand at the Mundelein Beach Bash June 22

Mundelein's Beach Bash will return this year from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 22.

The fun takes place at "Mundelein's hidden gem," Diamond Lake Beach, 1016 Diamond Lake Road, Mundelein. Admission is free.

The day starts with a free Latin themed Zumba dance class at 10 a.m., followed by the 11 a.m. Yoga on the Beach.

The rest of the Beach Bash fun kicks off at noon with competitions and family challenges. Entertainment also includes the Sand Castle Showcase at noon and the 1 p.m. Ninja Warrior Competition for ages 6-12 (registration required). Finish the day off with an evening of water thrills from the Wonder Lake Ski Show Team at 6 p.m.

Food trucks will be on hand during lunch and dinner hours. The beach will be closed upon completion of the ski show.
