Elgin man missing since Monday

Police are looking for an Elgin man who's been missing since Monday.

Michael Vargas, 50, was last seen about 7:30 a.m. on the 200 block of Division Street, according to a Facebook post from the Elgin Police Department.

Vargas is Hispanic, stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and has a small build, the post said. He was last seen wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
