Drive-through restaurant coming to Hoffman Plaza

An as-yet-unnamed restaurant with a drive-through and an outdoor seating area will be one of two tenants of a 4,500-square-foot outlot building at Hoffman Plaza Shopping Center at the northeast corner of Roselle and Higgins roads in Hoffman Estates.

Hoffman Estates trustees unanimously approved the project Monday.

Planning and zoning commission Chairwoman Eva Combs told the village board that while the developer already has a tenant for the restaurant space, it has not yet been publicly identified.

The planned outdoor seating area will be at the northwest corner of the building.
