Lawn sprinkling restricted in Mundelein

Lawn-sprinkling restrictions have been implemented in Mundelein in a villagewide water conservation effort. Watering is permitted between 5 and 10 a.m. or 6 to 11 p.m. on even calendar days at properties east of Route 45. Sprinkling is allowed at properties west of Route 45 during those times on odd days. The restrictions will remain in place through September. New landscape plantings may be watered at any time on installation day.
