Grains higher, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery was up 1 cent at $5.3260 a bushel; Jul corn gained 8.80 cents at $4.49 a bushel; July oats rose 10 cents at $3.0940 a bushel; while July soybeans gained 7.60 cents at 8.9260 bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Jun. live cattle was up .35 cent at $1.0905 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle gained .86 cent at $1.3628 a pound; Jun. lean hogs rose .33 cents at .7945 a pound.
