Maine East Father's Day 5K set for Sunday
Area runners are invited to take part in the Father's Day Kickin' Grass 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, June 16, at Maine East High School in Park Ridge.
Race day registration will start at 6:30 a.m., with the race set to begin at 8:30 a.m. Runners also can register online at www.active.com/park-ridge-il/running/distance-running-races/father-s-day-5k-2019?int=.
The online entry fee is $30 online and $40 Sunday morning. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Maine Township School-Based Health Center, located at Maine East. There will be age category awards, a T-shirt for all participants and computerized timing.
Maine East High School is at 2601 Dempster St., Park Ridge.
