Motorcyclist taken to hospital after Waukegan crash

A motorcyclist was involved in a crash with another vehicle Sunday evening in Waukegan, authorities said.

Waukegan police and fire departments responded to the scene of the crash - Sunset Avenue and North Lewis Avenue - about 5:15 p.m., according to Waukegan Fire Department Battalion Chief Doug Camarato. The cause of the crash was unclear.

The motorcyclist was taken to Vista Medical Center East with nonlife-threatening injuries, Camarato said.
