Hanover Township to host open house June 15

Hanover Township will host a Touch-a-Truck and open house from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 15, at the Township Senior Center, 240 IL Route 59 in Bartlett, in celebration of Cook County Township Day.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with officials and staff to learn about the township's programs and services for youth, older adults, veterans, the disabled and families.

Police, fire, and emergency services vehicles will be on-site for kids to explore. Food and drink will also be provided.

The township also will be conducting tours of the senior center, showcasing the computer lab, arts and crafts room, the Stars N' Stripes Café, library and other program spaces.
