Elk Grove Village to host paint recycling event

Elk Grove Village will host a paint and motor oil recycling event Saturday morning for residents.

The collection is from 9 a.m. to noon at the James Paul Petri Public Works Facility, 450 E. Devon Ave. Items that will be collected include motor oil, latex and oil paint, and antifreeze. Spray paint, stains, sealants and solvents will not be accepted.

Officials plan to check identification verifying residency. Business items will not be accepted.
