Stop the assault on the unprotected

Since 1973, conservative estimates are that 61.3 million abortions have occurred in the United States (USabortionclock.org). Under the Nazi persecution, 6 million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust. During the Sandy Hook school shooting, 26 people were murdered.

We have allowed abortions totaling 10 times the number of Jews murdered during the Holocaust since abortion has been legalized. What have we murdered? The cure for cancer, a chance for world peace, our ability to be altruistic? How can we stop gun violence in this country when we cannot protect the weakest among us?

What was Sandy Hook? It was an assault on individuals unprepared, unprotected and in no way deserving what happened to them. What is an abortion? Where is our perspective?

When does life begin? Who cares, once we know that conception has occurred, what to we think that "thing" is going to develop into, a baked potato? It will eventually have a heartbeat, brain function and in due course, a thankful smile.
