Morality and abortion

Kathleen Ryg's claims that Catholics agree with her position on abortion is outrageous. She has no right to claim to be a Catholic and profess such awful statements.

The right to life is not only a Catholic position, it is also a moral one. Abortion is an assault on a living being and an assault on humanity. Think of this, 60 million children murdered since 1973. What would our world be like today if we had allowed them to enter it - 60 million minds and souls lost!

I have read Kathleen Parker's column and agree with her closing sentiments. I wish the Daily Herald would reprint it again and again.
