Round Lake Area Park District fireworks moved to June 29

The Round Lake Area Park District will move its Independence Day fireworks show to June 29, to coincide with Beach Fest in Round Lake Beach, officials announced.

The annual fireworks show, which previously took place on July 4, will begin after dusk during Beach Fest at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center, 2007 Civic Center Way.

Beach Fest will run from Thursday, June 27, through Sunday, June 30, and feature live entertainment, a petting zoo, a trackless train, food and alcohol vendors, and more. For more information, visit rlbciviccenter.com.
