Gurnee to host golf event for the whole family

The village of Gurnee, the Gurnee Park District and Bittersweet Golf Course will host an event for families on June 15. The annual Families on the Fairway event will feature access to the driving range, tips from golf pros, a putt-putt course for kids, giant miniature golf, remote-controlled vehicles, a face painter, an ice cream social and a variety of games. Admission is free and there will be food and drink available for purchase at the Bittersweet Club House. The event will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Bittersweet is at 875 Almond Road in Gurnee.
