The Arlington Heights Nurses Club introduced its 2019-2020 scholarship winners to members at their May meeting. Nine outstanding nursing students were honored to receive scholarships that will help fund their nursing education.

Three of the scholarship winners are BSN students at Purdue University. Sarah Prommer is entering her junior year, Kathryn Jamieson will begin her senior year and Gabrielle Saunders is taking her very last class this summer. After achieving a degree in math, Maggie Murphy entered the MELN(Masters in Entry Level Nursing)Program at DePaul University. Beginning as an Exercise Science major, Rachel Rabs found she was interested in nursing and entered the BSN Program at the University of Evansville. Rebecca Barnas is pursuing a BSN degree at Carroll University. Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville is the institution where Michaela Petre will receive her BSN degree. We wish all of these nursing students our very best as they pursue their educational endeavors.
