Western Indiana man shot after pointing gun at officers
CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - State Police say they're investigating the officer-involved shooting of a western Indiana who reportedly pointed a handgun at officers responding to a domestic disturbance.
Police say 36-year-old Lucas Anderson of Crawfordsville was treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound to the face and released. He's incarcerated at the Montgomery County Jail on one count of domestic battery and two counts of strangulation.
State Police say Crawfordsville Police officers responded about 12:50 a.m. Wednesday to the domestic disturbance and one officer fired his weapon in self-defense.
No one else was injured.
