'A Night with Janis Joplin' tours to Genesee Theatre in Waukegan

The 2013 Broadway musical "A Night with Janis Joplin" tours back to the Chicago area with a 7:30 p.m. performance on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan.

Tickets for the tribute show about the late 1960s singer go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24. Tickets are $38 to $68, with a $169 VIP package also available. Call (847) 263-6300 or visit geneseetheatre.com.
