Rankings: Barrington High School among nation's best

Barrington High School is among the best high schools in America, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings. Of about 17,000 public high schools ranked, Barrington High placed 760th nationally, which is in the top 4%. In addition, Barrington High ranked 35th among more than 1,500 high schools across Illinois, according to U.S. News. Graduation rates, college readiness and underserved student performance are among the areas that are judged for the rankings.
