Become a lifeguard this summer at Schaumburg Park District pools

Schaumburg Park District will provide you with all the tools you need to become a certified lifeguard!

Lifeguards are needed at Bock Pool, 1223 W. Sharon Lane, Atcher Island, 730 S. Springinsguth Road and Meineke Pool, 220 E. Weathersfield Way. Some positions may extend into the post-summer months at The Water Works, the District's indoor water park.

"Anybody who is willing to learn can be taught how to be a lifeguard," said Heather Simross, manager of fitness and aquatics. "We can teach you everything you need to know and will provide training for certification."

Lifeguards must be at least 16 years old and have a valid Jeff Ellis and Associates lifeguard certification, or complete training offered by the District.

Schaumburg Park District is an award-winning public agency that provides its residents with a wide variety of recreational facilities, programs, events, parks and open spaces.
