How could a graduated income tax be fair?

How can the flat and progressive income taxes both be fair? At least one of them has to be unfair.

Is it fair to tax a disproportionate amount of the income of one class of citizens vs. another? No, exercising coercive taxing powers to take income (i.e. property) from one class of citizen. to give to another is one of the worst sins of government!

Not only is the graduated income tax unfair, it is un-American. It violates our principle of property rights, advocated in the Declaration of Independence. One of the reasons that we fought a war with England was that life and liberty are secure only as long as the right to property is secure.

Also, one of the primary goals of the radical socialists is the abolition of personal. property. That's why the second measure of their 10 point agenda is the enactment of a graduated income tax. They have been successful on the federal level, so now they are working on the state level.

Our state constitution is protecting us now, but there is a movement afoot to unleash the unfair taxing powers. Guard your right to property and fair treatment. Vote no on any amendment to our state constitution. which changes the fair, flat tax.
