Fog this morning, then mostly sunny skies today

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for McHenry County.

Visibility will be reduced to less than a quarter mile for people in the advisory zone. The advisory is scheduled end at 10 a.m.

Drivers are urged to give themselves plenty of room to stop when driving through the fog.

People who are sick of the rain should have time to catch their breath today as mostly sunny skies are expected, the National Weather Service forecasts. Highs today should be in the mid 50s.

It will turn mostly cloudy tonight with lows around 40.
