Drug reduction march May 18

Saturday, May 18, is the new date for the Lake County Young Marines' drug demand reduction march. The march will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Gurnee police department, 100 O'Plaine Road. The march, co-sponsored by the Lake County Opioid Initiative, serves as an alternative to drug and substance abuse while promoting a healthy lifestyle. The original April 27 date was canceled when it snowed. The first 100 registered attendees get one free Six Flags park admission ticket per person. Registration is $15. Visit https://bit.ly/2IUqItC.
