Just weeks after being re-elected to the Mundelein High School board, member Joanne Anderson resigned from the panel Wednesday.
Anderson is moving out of District 120 and can no longer serve, officials confirmed. Anderson joined the board in 2011 and until recently served as its president.
The remaining trustees will appoint Peter Rastrelli, a candidate in the April election, to replace Anderson on the board. That will happen at the May 21 board meeting, a district spokesman said.
Anderson, incumbent Jane Siegal and newcomer Lisa Yaffe won the three seats up for election in April. Rastrelli finished fourth.
Although Anderson was elected to a four-year term, her replacement will be up for election in two years.
