YouthBuild Lake County Hosts 2019 Spring Benefit

YouthBuild Lake County, an education and job training agency, will be hosting its annual fundraising gala on Saturday, May 11, at Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling. Raising over $140,000 for their programs, this is their largest fundraising event of the year. Each year, several hundred people attend the Spring Benefit from Lake County and the North Shore. This The year's event features live entertainment by Spoken Four and is not to be missed!

Students and alumni from the program will be in attendance to mingle with guests and highlight their accomplishments from the past year. Students at YBLC complete their high school diplomas, learn the construction trade through hands-on experience, earn industry-recognized credentials, and complete career and life skills development coursework. YouthBuild students are also AmeriCorps members and work on service projects throughout the county.

YouthBuild's mission is to provide underserved young adults with the education, training, and life skills necessary to become gainfully employed and build a better future, and all proceeds of this event directly support the programs offered.
