Churches celebrate Christ rising from the dead on Easter

Christian churches around the world are celebrating Easter, the most important day in the religious year as it recalls Jesus Christ rising from the dead after his crucifixion, offering the promise of eternal life.

The multiple services this weekend at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington draw thousands of people eager to mark the holy day.
