Shoeless Joe's plans to reopen in Schiller Park

Shoeless Joe's Ale House & Grille, which closed its original Rosemont location last month after three decades, is planning to reopen three miles away in Schiller Park.

The sports bar is moving to 4926 N. River Road, just blocks south of the Rosemont Theatre. An opening date hasn't yet been set, but owners are already conducting job interviews at the new location, they said in a Facebook post.

Shoeless Joe's closed at 10290 W. Higgins Road on March 31 after the building owner refused to extend the lease. The bar opened in 1989. A second location opened in Addison in 2016.
