Grains mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was off 8.8 cents at $4.512 a bushel; May corn fell 4.8 cents at $3.5840 a bushel; May oats rose 1 cent at $2.8840 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 9.2 cents at 8.9220 a bushel.

Beef, pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle was up .68 cent at $1.2710 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle gained .32 cent at $1.4570 a pound; May lean hogs rose .84 cent at .9042 a pound.
