Knife sharpener coming to Arlington Heights on Sunday

Knife and tool sharpener Dave Nells will return to the Arlington Heights Historical Museum on Sunday in time for those planning to prepare holiday meals or get their gardens in order.

Nells, master sharpener and owner of Sharpening by Dave, will bring his mobile shop to the museum campus from noon to 2 p.m., sponsored by the Arlington Heights Farmers Market Committee. He will be able to sharpen not only kitchen knives, but garden tools such as trowels, shovels, pruning shears, lobber blades and mower blades. Customers can wait or have the option for delivery to their homes at a later date.

Nells will return to the museum again from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 11.
