Grains lower, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was down 9 cents at $4.5920 a bushel; May corn fell 5.2 cents at $3.5800 a bushel; May oats lost 4.4 cents at $2.816 a bushel; while May soybeans dropped 2.8 cents at 8.9920 a bushel.
Beef highed, pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Apr. live cattle was up 1.1 cents at $1.2630 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle rose .48 cent at $1.4650 a pound; Apr. lean hogs lost .17 cents at .7865 a pound.
