Aurora church hosts Easter Egg Scramble April 13

More than 3,000 plastic eggs will be offered in the Aurora Advent Christian Church's fifth annual Easter Egg Scramble at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the church, 904 N. Edeglawn Drive in Aurora.

Children through fifth grade are invited. Admission and parking are free.

The event opens with refreshments in the church gym. After a brief Easter story at 11 a.m., the egg hunt will be held on the church's north lawn. Children will hunt eggs by age groups, with youngest children going first.

Eggs will include candy and some will include prize tickets. After the hunt, children can collect prizes and turn in empty eggs in the gym. Prizes include Glow Bowl party from Parkside Lanes, day passes to Raging Waves Water Park in Yorkville, jump passes to Sky High Sports, bubble toys, sports balls, and gift cards for McDonald's and Pizza Hut.
