One dead in Kirk Road crash in Batavia

One person died and two others were injured in a Batavia crash that closed part of Kirk Road on Sunday evening.

No information regarding the deceased was released Sunday night pending notification of next of kin. The two injured people were transported to area hospitals.

Authorities said three vehicles were involved in the crash on Kirk Road near the bike bridge.

The road was closed between Wind Energy Pass and Giese Road for part of the evening, but has reopened, according to a news release from the city.
