Honoree nominees needed for this years Gurnee Days
The Gurnee Days Corporation is soliciting nominees to be the 2019 Gurnee Days Honoree. Since 1973, the corporation has sought honoree nominations from the community for people who have made meaningful contributions to make the Gurnee area a better place to work and live. From the nominations, a deserving person or couple who has provided outstanding service for ten years or more is selected by the Gurnee Days Corporation in the spring. A ceremony for the honoree will be held on Friday of Gurnee Days which kicks off the annual festivities and the honoree also serves as the parade marshal. Submissions will be accepted until April 30 at the Gurnee Days website gurneedays.com.
