Barbara Pierce Bush to deliver Trine commencement address

ANGOLA, Ind. (AP) - Presidential daughter/granddaughter Barbara Pierce Bush will be delivering the May commencement address at northeastern Indiana's Trine University.

The granddaughter of George Herbert Walker Bush and the daughter of George W. Bush will speak at the May 4 commencement at Trine's campus in Angola, Indiana.

School President Earl D. Brooks II says Bush's "experiences and insights, as both the daughter and granddaughter of United States presidents and from her humanitarian work after college, will be an inspiration" to the graduating class.

The Herald-Republican reports that Bush graduated from Yale University with a degree in humanities in 2004.

She's now a humanitarian and the board chair of Global Health Corps, which she co-founded in 2009 to engage young people in solving the world's biggest health challenges.
