Grains lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was down 7.2 cents at $4.6600 a bushel; May corn fell 3.4 cents at $3.6160 a bushel; May oats lost .6 cent at $2.874 a bushel; while May soybeans dropped 4.8 cents at 8.9740 a bushel.

Beef mixed, pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle was up .13 cent at $1.2625 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle fell .37 cent at $1.4565 a pound; Apr. lean hogs gained .4 cents at .7950 a pound.
