Letter to the editor: Mueller has earned himself prison time
U.S. Code 2385 is entitled "Advocating Overthrow of Government."
In part, this federal code reads as follows: "Whoever, with intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of government, prints, publishes, edits, issues, circulates ... distributes, or publicly displays any written or printed matter advocating, advising, or teaching the duty, necessity, desirability, or proprietary of overthrowing or destroying any government ... shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years or both."
For 600-plus days, Robert Mueller and an assembly of pro-Clinton supporters has conducted and perpetuated a spurious "investigation" of alleged "Russian conspiracy."
While Mueller led this charade, his group was following directives from advocates including, but not limited to, a Democratic Congress, Clinton, Comey, Lynch, Clapper, Brennan, Rosenstein. Paige, Strozk, Weissman, CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post and others who publicly advocated Trump's removal by any means.
This "tribe of conspirators" hid their intent behind the Mueller probe, which moved on glacially with devastating public effect. The resulting disinformation campaign, which was the denominator of this conspiracy, shifted the balance of power in Congress while undermining the veracity of the Trump administration et al.
On March 24, the Mueller probe ended - but the ramifications from this conspiracy have not.
Democrats who think more investigations will change the "arithmetic" of this situation are delusional and are seriously underestimating the torrent of retribution that will be rightfully unleashed on them in the coming months - legally - under the articles of U.S. Code 2385.
