Health walks planned at Lake County forest preserves

Explore nature and get healthy in Lake County's scenic forest preserves on select Saturdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. beginning April 13.

A health professional and an environmental educator will accompany participants on walks to explore the preserve and improve health. Walks are one to two miles in length.

Registration is not required, but children must be supervised by adults. Walks will be held April 13, at Hastings Lake in Lake Villa; April 27, at Middlefork Savanna in Lake Forest; and May 18, at Lakewood in Wauconda. \
