Grains higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was up 3 cents at $4.7320 a bushel; May corn rose 2.4 cents at $3.6500 a bushel; May oats gained 1.8 cents at $2.880 a bushel; while May soybeans advanced 3 cents at 9.0220 a bushel.

Beef mixed, pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle was off .08 cent at $1.2612 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle rose 1.45 cents at $1.4602 a pound; Apr. lean hogs gained 2.8 cents at .7910 a pound.
