After scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the nonconference game, the Panthers (5-2) won on Anthony Ferreri's seventh-inning sacrifice fly. Brandon Gonzales won on the mound with 3 innings of scoreless relief.
WW South 11, Benet 9:
The Tigers (5-2) exploded for 5 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to win the nonconference matchup. Mike Kowalczyk, Bradley Novak and Matt Brennan combined for 8 RBI. Connor Hincks, Ben Wright and Jared Novak drove in 2 runs for Benet (6-5).
