Calamos names Anderson head of wealth strategy and trust services

NAPERVILLE - Calamos Wealth Management has hired Nancy E. Anderson, J.D., as senior vice president and the firm's Head of Wealth Strategy and Trust Services.

Anderson joins the firm from BNY Mellon, where she served as regional vice president and senior wealth director. She will lead the fiduciary and trust growth of Calamos Private Trust and be based at Calamos Wealth Management's headquarters in Naperville. Anderson will have a national presence as she collaborates with the firm's advisors both there and at its offices in Florida and New York.

After beginning her career as a bank trust officer, Anderson earned a law degree in 1991 from William Mitchell College of Law and has been an active member of the Minnesota Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar association, Financial Planning Association (FPA). She engaged in private practice, focused on estate planning, before bringing her law and trust backgrounds together as a vice president and trust director with American Express (formerly IDS Trust Company.)

Most recently, Nancy was a senior wealth director at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in Chicago, where she led an integrated team providing portfolio management, trust planning and administration, and a wide range of private-banking services. Prior to BNY Mellon, Andersen held several senior wealth strategy and leadership positions at firms including Merrill Lynch Trust Company, Citigroup Global Wealth Management and US Bank Private Client Reserve.
