Geneva library announces April Artist of the Month

Geneva Public Library, 127 James St., announces the "Artist for the Month" for April is CJ Hungerman.

Hungerman creates art based on his interaction with people and places.

The shapes and colors represent the variety of people he engages during his daily routine.

Even though the colors and odd shapes should not collectively work together, he has found a way to place them side by side successfully, rendering them as one harmonious piece. He does this to demonstrate the way all of us can interact with each other as we traverse through the friction of life.

Hungerman earned a Masters of Fine Art from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, a Bachelor of Fine Art at West Virginia University, and a Bachelor of Science Design at West Liberty State University, West Virginia.
