Schneider hosting small business workshop April 18 in Grayslake

Congressman Brad Schneider will host a small business workshop from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Grayslake Area Public Library, 100 Library Lane in Grayslake.

The event will be led by Mitch Bienvenue, director of the Illinois Small Business Development and International Trade Center.

It's intended to assist constituents interested in starting a small business or growing an existing business. The workshop will cover what you need to know to do business in Illinois; factors for small business success; elements of a good business plan; business startup funding; and next steps for starting or growing your business.
