Girls soccer: Batavia blanks Nazareth

Grace Salyers got the scoring started for Batavia on an assist from Anna Holcombe in a 5-0 win over Nazareth on Tuesday.

Salyers also assisted on a pair of first-half goals, to Ashley Whelpley and Chloe Valentino, for a 3-0 halftime lead.

Zaira Solis scored unassisted and CeCe Hamann netted the final goal on an assist from Allison TenHaken.

Goalies Aubrey Hahn and Hailey Flannagan both made a save while being supported by defenders Jenna Nichols and Taylor Fleury.
