Grains mostly higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery advanvced 11.20 cents at $4.7640 a bushel; May corn rose 1.80 cents at $3.7920 a bushel; May oats was up .20 cent at $2.7620 a bushel; while May soybeans fell .80 cent at 9.0320 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle was off 1.27 cents at $1.2735 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle fell .22 cent at $1.4268 a pound; Apr. lean hogs lost .46 cent at .7912 a pound.
