Elk Grove Village Youth Service Celebration

The annual Youth Service Celebration sponsored by the Community Character Coalition of Elk Grove, took place on Tuesday, March 12, at Elk Grove Village Hall. The Youth Service Celebration event is held for youth service groups to promote volunteerism in the community and demonstrate character.

At this year's Celebration of Youth, service groups demonstrated their charitable efforts through board displays, and educated attendees on how their hard work makes an impact on their selected causes. After the Youth Service Celebration concluded, all 14 groups were honored at the Village Board meeting where Mayor Johnson and the Board of Trustees presented certificates to the exceptional young members of the community.
