Batavia High School to host 'INCubator Expo' for area business owners and professionals
To show area business owners and professionals how their service-oriented startups can increase customer bases and brand awareness, the Batavia High School student entrepreneurs will host its first "INCubator Expo" from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 1, at Pal Joey's Restaurant, 2030 Main St., Batavia. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
At the inaugural INCubator Expo, attendees will hear from keynote speaker Nathan Uno, chief strategist at the Chicago-based branding agency, Cultivate. Uno will be sharing proven strategies from his work at Cultivate on how to build and amplify a brand and cultivate meaningful business relationships.
Batavia High School INCubator students and founders of GeoFluence, LLC, will be sharing how their influencer social media marketing platform gets targeted messaging out - and cost-effectively.
The BHS student entrepreneurs behind the company, SnapAdventure, will be sharing how they are driving traffic to local businesses by creating adventures designed to get people off the couch and into something new.
"We are excited about bringing the local business community and student entrepreneurs together for this unique networking opportunity," said Dennis Piron, instructor, INCubator Entrepreneurship Program. "Our student entrepreneurs and keynote speaker have fresh, outside-of-the-box ideas that can really help local businesses grow."
INCubator Expo is a free event. Complimentary appetizers and soft drinks from Pal Joey's will be provided.
