Stevenson High to honor longtime board member Roberts

Former Stevenson High School District 125 board member Merv Roberts will receive the district's annual Heritage Award, officials announced.

The prize is given to people who have made a significant impact on the Lincolnshire school. Roberts served on the school board from 1981 to 2018, including 16 years as president. His 37-year tenure is the longest in the district's history.

The award will be given this spring, but details haven't been finalized.
