Barrington High School students shifting to iPads

Barrington Area Unit District 220 board members recently approved a plan to replace school-issued MacBook Air 11-inch laptops for Barrington High School students to the iPad Generation 6.

Officials said the MacBook Air 11-inch laptop has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The iPad is expected to allow the same productivity functions of a laptop and increase creativity options for students.
