Batavia

• Two bottles of liquor valued at $80 were reported stolen at 6:10 p.m. Thursday from the 100 block of Batavia Avenue.

• Laura L. Galvan, 20, of the 1000 block of Lorlyn Circle, Batavia, was charged at 1:33 p.m. Saturday with misdemeanor retail theft of $77 in groceries and other items from Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road, according to police.

• A wallet was reported stolen from a purse at 4:24 p.m. Saturday on the 400 block of North Randall Road and a $500 charge made without the owner's consent. A $3,500 purchase was attempted at an area Target, but the transaction was declined.

Kane County

• Michael S. Wright, 30, of the 35W500 block of Fox River Drive, St. Charles, was charged with felony aggravated driving under the influence causing great bodily harm, DUI, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration of .08 or more, no insurance and failure to reduce speed in a motorcycle crash at 12:41 a.m. Saturday near Forest and Hillcrest avenues in St. Charles Township, according to a sheriff's report. Wright's female passenger was hospitalized with a broken neck, broken scapula, dislocated left hip and concussion, and Wright's BAC was .14, according to the report.
