What are the most important issues facing your community and how do you intend to address them?

Keeping fiscally responsible budgets while meeting the needs of the village and the residents. Continue working closely with staff and the board.

What makes you the best candidate for the job?

I am one of the members if this diverse board, with 16 years experience. This board works very well together.

Describe your leadership style and explain how you think that will be effective in producing actions and decisions with your village board or city council.

We are a very diverse board and we all look at issues from different views. We are able to share these views openly, which I am not shy to share my views, and make decisions that are the best for the village and the residents.

How would you describe the condition of your community's budget, and what are the most important specific actions the town should take to assure providing the level of services people want?

South Elgin has a very fiscally responsible budget. This is something that the entire board is very proud of.

What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?

I know that a public swimming pool is not possible, I would like to see the possibility of a splash pad in the village.
